Hi Gloss Entertainment are excited to announce our new acquisition and the Australian premiere for Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi's latest film, SILENT FRIEND.
A winner of four awards at the Venice Film Festival including the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor and the FIPRESCI prize, SILENT FRIEND sees legendary Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Chiu-wai in his first European film team up with Lea Seydoux and a majestic Ginkgo biloba tree — which can famously live up to 1,000 years in this year's most unique and satisfying cinematic experience.
First stop is the Brisbane International Film Festival in late-Nov and then a week under the trees at Somerville Auditorium as part of Perth Festival in March.
